The Minturn Summer Concert Series

With a great local community, the business's within Minturn band together to help put on a fabulous summer concert series. This fun event is totally free to the public and lasts for eight weeks throughout the summer. Once a week, musicans and bands are brought in to preform in Minturn's Little Beach Amphiteather.

The Minturn Community Fund (TMCF) is a non-profit that was established in 2004 with the goal of making a positive difference in the lives of local Colorado residents.  TMCF works to ensure that both Minturn and its sister town, Redcliff, remain strong, stable and happy communities.

Project Funway

Jane Rohr and Janie Viehman brought home the honors of second place for their very stylish Rock and Roll Fairy Dress. It was The Scarab’s first entry in the third Annual Project Funway.  With music backing up the fabulous model Janie Viehman, she rocked the stage with the team’s modern and edgy dress fabricated from silver and black screens that are more often found in doors and windows to keep the critters out than in high fashion.

The Creativity Behind Metal Fabrication

For over 15 years Vail Manufacturing Inc. has been the only metal fabrication shop in Eagle County that offers a full-time, hands-on showroom that welcomes clients, designers and contractors. Owned by Carrie and Barry Kroschel, the company prides itself on working with local artisans, supporting the community, developing relationships and creating a sustainable business environment.

Minturn Community Fund

In the town of Minturn people look out for each other and the Minturn Community Fund helps facilitate that support. Created in 2004 to ensure that Minturn and sister town Red Cliff would always be cared for, the Community Fund is a non-profit development organization funded solely though donations and staffed by volunteers.  By partnering with other local non-profits like the Salvation Army, the Community Fund takes care of anything its residents need.

After 30 years in the luxury resort interior design field, the name Slifer Designs has become synonymous with Vail Valley decor. Hailing from northern Florida, Creative Director and CEO Beth Slifer grew up in the business as her mother was an interior designer.
