Into the West Revamps Luxurious Log Cabin

Located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Into the West is a full-service interior design store and studio that serves as Northwest Colorado’s premier interior design resource.

Headed up by Owner and Lead Designer Kim Ladehoff and Designer and Project Manager Monique Payne, the Into the West team is known for elevating homes with innovative ideas and design expertise.

Exemplifying their ability to turn a house into a home, Kim and Monique revamped a classic log home that features panoramic views of the Yampa Valley. The luxurious five-bedroom, five-bathroom space is decorated in a European Mountain style.

“The client wanted to refresh and we started with the outside,” says Kim and Monique. “We began restoring the outside and then started small on the inside, one room at a time, and ended up doing the entire home from the outside in.”

When it was time to choose handmade rugs, The Scarab was their first choice. “Scarab rugs are a big part of this home,” adds Kim and Monique. “We picked them because of their high quality and classic styling. Rugs from The Scarab can be found in almost every room including the living room, dining room, breakfast nook, game room, bathrooms and lining the halls throughout.”

Whatever your interior design needs might be, Into The West has top of the line designs, resources and every ability to give any client just what they are dreaming of.
